Steph Tooze

Racing Secretary

Steph joined Wilsford Stables as Racing Secretary in January 2012 on a part-time basis.  She keeps us all in line and makes sure everything is in order.  She will probably be most peoples first point of contact at Wilsford and has a good rapport with all.

Her role includes PA to the trainer, informing owners of their horses entries and declarations, updating the website and social media, liaising with the Assistant Trainer and Yard Manager about travel arrangements for horses and overseas buying trips, keeping accurate records of horse vaccinations, worming, dental and physio treatments.  Other tasks include answering the phone, wages, health and safety work, ordering tack, office essentials and veterinary supplies, dealing with correspondence, setting up owners, syndicates, partnerships and registering horse names at Weatherbys and lots more!

Outside of work Steph has her own horses which she enjoys riding and showing as well as spending time with her family and dog.
