Given Name aka “Gav” came to us in December 2018 off the flat. He ran 8 times for us over hurdles and was one of our Racing Club horses. He ran his final race at Stratford on 22 August 2019 where he was pulled up and it was decided that racing wasn’t his game and he was put out to grass for the summer. Our Racing Secretary, Steph, fell in love with his cheeky character and took him on to share with her friend Georgi. After having the winter off (and being totally pampered!) he has slowly been bought back into work and is enjoying his flatwork and finds it all very exciting! The plan for Gav is to get him out and about doing a bit of dressage, show jumping and cross country, when he is ready and when coronavirus allows!
